Valley of Flowers National Park is an Indian national park, located in North Chamoli, in the state of Uttarakhand and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora.

Intinerary

Day 01:Dehradun –  Rudraprayag                      

Meal : B/fast –Lunch -Dinner

Pick up from Dehradun Airport & proceed to Rudraprayag (180 kms) . On arrival check in at hotel. ) Overnight stay at Rudraprayag

Day 02: Rudrapayag – Joshimath - Auli             

 Meal : B/fast –XXX -Dinner

After breakfast, proceed to Joshimath. From there to Auli by Ropeway (4 kms).It gives a spectacular view of the Himalayan Range and the Alpine Forest, Meadows below. Visit Auli Artificial Lake,  View of Nanda Devi Peak (The highest Peak of India), Gorso Bugyal Joshimath.( The town of Joshimath is also nicknamed as Jyotirmath and is the winter seat of Lord Badri, whose idol is brought down from Badrinath temple to Vasudeva temple at Joshimath. It is one of the Four Maths or monasteries that were established by Adi Guru Sankaracharya in the 8^th centuray. Four Maths are - North (Joshimath), south (Kanchi -Sringeri), East (Puri), West (Dwaraka) .. Overnight stay at Joshimath.

Day 03 :Joshimath - Gangaria                                 

Meal : B/fast – Lunch-Dinner

Morning proceed to Govindghat. From there 12 kms trek to Gangaria. (Horses /Helicopters are available with extra cost) . Overnight stay at Gangaria

Day 04 :Gangaria – Valley of Flowers–Gangaria  

Meal : B/fast –Lunch - Dinner

Morning Trek to Valley of Flowers (02 hrs).   Feast your eyes on vast meadows dotted with vibrant alpine flowers, many streams and lofty mountains. Right at the entrance stands the snowy Ratban Parvat Peak, on the left is Nar Parvat and on the right is the dense Birch Forest. Unravel the charms of the region over a good 3-4 hours. Overnight stay Gangaria

Day 05 :Gangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Gangaria (06-07 hrs Trek)    

Meal : B/fast –  XXX - Dinner

Ascend to Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh Shrine built next to the mesmerising lake (ringed by wild flowers with Brahmkamal being the most popular) over 3-4 hours. Expect steep climbs at some places. Once there, soak in the beauty of the place as sip on the piping hot tea served at the Gurudwara (shrine). Visit LaxmanMandir next to the Gurudwara. By noon, return to Gangaria.Overnight stay Gangaria

Day 06 :Gangaria – Govindghat–Mussorie     

Meal : B/fast –Lunch - Dinner

Morning trek back to Govindghat (3-4 hrs). From there by vehicle to Mussorie (350 kms)..  Overnight stay Mussorie

Day 07 :Mussorie                                                   

Meal : B/fast –Lunch - Dinner

Day visit – Kempty Waterfalls, Happey Valley Tibetian Monastery, Mall Road. Overnight stay Mussorie

Day 08 :Mussorie – Dehradun - Kerala                                      

Meal : B/fast  

Day for departure. Drop at Dehradun Airport.
